Our State Government client is looking for experience Payroll officer to join their busy team. You will be working in a small team to do payroll for the whole Government divisions. Your accuracy will be key to the success in this role.
 
Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently processing end-to-end payroll processing, handling enquiries and preparing reports.
  • Maintain payroll records to ensure that they are current, accurate, easily accessible and kept in a confidential manner.
  • Escalate more complex payroll enquiries and transactions to the specialist payroll team.
  • Achieve the required shared services performance levels in terms of customer satisfaction, efficiency and effectiveness for payroll.
  • Work cooperatively within a team, helping to achieve team objectives by contributing to a team environment of knowledge and information sharing, continuous improvement, and skill and capability development.

 
Your experience to excel in this role:  

  • Previous experience in a payroll position in Australia
  • Experience with SAP and TRIM, please include this on your resume
  • Sound numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience using multiple computer-based systems.
