Network Engineer provides engineering and system support for the Councils Infrastructure, compute, storage and backups for internal and Cloud environments.Support the day-to-day operation of IT Network Infrastructure for Firewalls, Routing, Wireless, CCTV, Web filtering, Azure networking.

Key Skills

• Solid understanding of cloud environments – in particular Azure
• Cisco Certified CCNA (minimal)
• Zscaler Cloud Administrator ZCCA-IA; ZCCA-PA
• Fortinet Firewalls
• Velo Cloud hands on experience 
• Extensive demonstrated Network Administration Experience
• Extreme Wireless
• Mandatory ITIL 4 Certified
• Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards, management of Routing/Switching/Wireless/Firewalls/Cloud based security products
• Knowledge of Australian Signals Directorate Essential 8 Security controls and ISO27001. 
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong communications skills
