About Our Client
Our client is a National Not-for-Profit organisation, specialising in the provision of high level care services to a range of demographics. They have offices located close to public transport in Sydney CBD.
They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team to cover Maternity Leave.
About the Role
You will be reporting to the CFO and managing a team of 5 finance staff, including AP/AR, Financial Accounting and Analysis. You will indirectly have oversight over 1 Payroll team member also.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing budgets and financial reports
- Supervising and reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations and P&L Statements
- Providing the CFO and Board with decision making insights
- Cashflow Management
- Statutory Reporting, Managing the Year End/Audit process
To be successful in this role you need to have recent experience at a similar level. You should have a team based approach to your work style and be happy to “pitch in” with this varied role.
You will need CA/CPA qualifications and ideally have worked within a NFP organisation recently. Being available on short notice is an advantage. Experience with systems such as Great Plains, MS Dynamics and SUN also advantageous.
