As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will manage the end-to-end finance relationship for your portfolio, providing both strategic insight and hands-on financial support. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting planning cycles, and ensuring stakeholders are equipped with clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end budget cycle, including planning, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Provide high-quality financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities, and funding requirements
- Support the Finance Director in strengthening finance business partnering capability across the function
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations within your portfolio
- Lead and mentor two finance team members to ensure continuity and delivery of core finance activities
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner role within a large or complex organisation
- Strong capability across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and translating financial data into meaningful insights
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to guide and support team members
- Government experience is welcome but not essential, we would welcome those with large commercial or banking experience to apply
