Quay (Ethos BeathChapman) is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Sydney CBD team, working across Government and Banking/FS clients.
This is a split desk across temporary and permanent recruitment, with an established foundation of temporary revenue already allocated to the desk. The opportunity is for someone who can take that existing base and build further growth across both temp and perm.
The role
You’ll work across a mix of Government and Banking clients, managing the recruitment process from candidate sourcing through to placement and ongoing client relationships.
The desk already has active temporary business, so you won’t be starting from scratch. We’re looking for someone who enjoys developing relationships, winning new business and building a desk over the longer term.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Manage existing temporary recruitment requirements and grow the contractor base
- Develop permanent recruitment opportunities across Commercial and Banking/FS
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Source, interview and represent candidates
- Develop new business and identify opportunities within existing accounts
- Work closely with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide market advice
- Build your own network and profile across your specialist market
We’re open to different levels of recruitment experience, but you’ll ideally have:
- Previous agency recruitment experience
- A genuine interest in Banking/Financial Services recruitment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A commercial mindset and interest in business development
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider team
Why this role?
- Sydney CBD location
- Split temporary and permanent desk
- Existing temporary revenue base to build from
- Established Government and Banking client relationships
- Opportunity to drive your own growth and develop the desk
- Flexible approach to working arrangements
- Sponsorship available for the right person
