Office & Continuous Improvement Manager
Sydney CBD | Hybrid | Full-time

We’re working with an established consulting firm based near Wynyard in Sydney CBD who are looking for an Office & Continuous Improvement Manager to take ownership of office operations while playing a key role across business systems, process improvement, compliance and change initiatives.

This is a broad role that sits across business operations, systems implementation, stakeholder management, compliance and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and teams across the business to implement new systems, improve existing processes, maintain compliance and ensure changes are successfully adopted.

About the role
You will be responsible for coordinating and driving a range of operational and continuous improvement initiatives, while also overseeing the day-to-day administrative requirements of the office.
A key focus will be supporting the business through system implementations and process changes. You’ll work alongside business stakeholders to understand requirements, coordinate implementation activities, follow up actions and ensure teams are confident using new systems and processes.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating and supporting the implementation of new business systems and technology
  • Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify process improvements
  • Following up stakeholders to ensure agreed actions are completed
  • Supporting change management and user adoption across the business
  • Developing processes, procedures, user guides and supporting documentation
  • Identifying inefficiencies and recommending practical improvements
  • Supporting the business to maintain key compliance requirements, policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Working with stakeholders to identify compliance gaps and implement improvements
  • Supporting the review and development of policies and procedures
  • Supporting stakeholders through changes to systems, processes and ways of working
  • Helping teams build confidence and capability with new systems
  • Reviewing existing business processes and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency
  • Coordinating meetings, actions and project requirements across multiple stakeholders
  • Overseeing general office operations and administration
  • Providing administrative and executive support to senior stakeholders as required

About you
We’re looking for someone who is organised, commercially minded, confident with stakeholders and genuinely interested in how businesses operate.
You may come from an EA, Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Business Operations, Business Support, Project Coordination or Continuous Improvement background and be looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience.
You’ll ideally have:
  • Experience working in a business operations, EA, office management, business support or project environment
  • Experience supporting system implementations, technology projects or business process improvements
  • Experience working with compliance requirements, policies, procedures or internal controls
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The confidence to work with senior stakeholders and influence people to complete agreed actions
  • Strong project coordination and organisational skills
  • Experience supporting change and helping users adopt new systems or processes
  • A practical approach to problem-solving and process improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You don't need to be a technical systems specialist. We’re looking for someone who can understand business requirements, coordinate implementation activities, work with stakeholders and make sure new systems and processes are successfully embedded within the business.

Why this role?
This is an opportunity to move beyond a traditional administration or EA role and take on broader responsibility across business operations, systems, compliance, projects and continuous improvement.
You’ll have genuine exposure to system implementations and business improvement initiatives, working directly with stakeholders to help shape and embed new ways of working.
