We are seeking multiple experienced software engineers to support the delivery of large-scale ICT initiatives within a fast-paced, high-performing environment. You will work within agile teams to design, build, and deliver secure, scalable, and modern digital solutions. Remote working arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to business needs. Please indicate your preferred work location if outside Canberra.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain secure backend services using modern .NET (8/10) and REST APIs
- Build responsive React frontends aligned with accessibility standards
- Integrate internal and third-party systems (event-driven, identity, CRM)
- Apply secure coding practices and manage secrets (e.g., Key Vault)
- Develop automated tests (unit, integration, UI) and maintain CI/CD quality gates
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to DevOps practices
- Collaborate with product, UX, security, and operations teams
- Mentor team members and support continuous improvement
- 10+ years’ experience designing, building, and supporting secure web applications
- Strong expertise in:
- .NET (8/10) and ASP.NET Web APIs
- REST API design (OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2/OIDC)
- React development
- Automated testing (xUnit, NUnit, Selenium, Playwright)
- Hands-on experience with Azure services:
- App Services, Functions, Azure SQL
- Service Bus/Event Grid
- API Management
- CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
- Monitoring tools (e.g., Application Insights)
- Experience with API-led architecture, governance, and security patterns
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
