Pay:$65–$72/hr + Super based on experience

A leading Government organisation is seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial support across its divisions. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre finance professional to contribute to business performance, strategic decision-making, and process improvements while delivering insightful financial analysis to enable informed decisions across their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Managers and Executive Directors to monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement improvements aligned with strategy.
- Prepare monthly financial reports with variance analysis and clear performance commentary.
- Coordinate the preparation and delivery of divisional budgets and forecasts, acting as the primary liaison with the Financial Planning & Reporting team.
- Develop business cases using financial modelling and cash flow analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Deliver ad hoc financial insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in financial practices.
- CPA or CA qualified with proven experience in financial analysis and business partnering.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to collaborate effectively with managers and executives.
- Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and variance analysis.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and process improvement.
- Government experience is not essential for this position- they are interested in seeing people from a range of large complex organisations
