Business & Executive Coordinator – Government Contract
  • $55 per hour + super
  • Sydney CBD- Onsite 4 days- Work From Home 1 day
  • Contract to 30 June 2026- Likely to extend/ Option to apply for Permanent role
We are partnering with a respected NSW public sector agency to recruit an experienced Business & Executive Coordinator to support senior leadership across corporate and technology functions.
This is a high-trust, fast-paced role where you will act as a central point of coordination for executives — managing priorities, streamlining processes and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the business unit.

The Opportunity Supporting senior executives, you will coordinate business operations, manage workflows and prepare high-quality documentation to enable informed decision-making. The position requires judgement, discretion and strong organisational capability.
You’ll be working in an environment where confidentiality, professionalism and initiative are critical, and where you’ll have visibility across strategy, reporting, planning and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level executive coordination and operational support
  • Manage diaries, meeting actions and follow-ups across leadership teams
  • Prepare and review briefings, reports and presentations
  • Coordinate business processes including governance, finance and people processes
  • Act as a key contact point for stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Prioritise requests and manage competing deadlines
  • Support reporting, planning and organisational improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation and workflow tracking
About You You may have worked as an Executive Assistant, Executive Officer, Business Coordinator, Senior Team Assistant or similar supporting senior leaders in a Government environment.
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
  • Is highly organised and confident managing competing priorities
  • Writes clearly and professionally
  • Exercises sound judgement and maintains confidentiality
  • Is proactive and comfortable working independently
  • Can quickly learn systems and business processes

  • Ability to work onsite in Sydney CBD (hybrid)
  • Criminal record check required
  • Must demonstrate professional impartiality and discretion
