Join us for the first breakfast meeting of the year at Quay Appointments!

"Great Communication - It all takes heart!"

Presented by: Barbara Warren
15th February, 2011

Learn to present in a dramatically different way!

Improving communicator skills begins with self awareness and a keen observation of others, coupled with a continual appraisal of the situation and ending with reflection

This informative, dynamic and fun session will focus on how to recognise and develop these skills as an individual and adapt them for formal business contexts by exploring the skills of 'performance' and theatricality. The approach will be very much "thinking outside the box" and applying these theatre training techniques towards team building, leadership and presentation skills.

The session will:

  • Enhance your ability to heighten the attention and interest levels of your audiences during presentations, meetings and other workplace communications.
  • Expand your capacity to maximise retention of information by creatively appealing to and acknowledging the audiences' different listening and communication styles
  • Appreciate the need to be emotionally and intellectually engaging when communicating

Barbara Warren is the Director of Dramatic Difference Training, and a highly experienced Learning and Development professional where she is dedicated to excellence in communication.  Barbara worked at NIDA for fifteen years, and she consults for major corporations throughout Australia and overseas.  She is committed to sharing her passion for courageous communication and the tips and tricks that she has collected over the years. Barbara believes that all professionals can create the most amazing, credible leadership presence – they just need the right motivation and expertise to present in dramatically different ways!
