"Coaching for Success"

Presented by: Pamala Crumblin
27th July, 2010

Managers become more effective leaders when they coach their employees. They also become known as great people to work for, nurturers of talent and
achievers of business results.

Did you know that employees are four times more likely to leave a job with a manager that has poor coaching and interpersonal skills?

Turnover costs from 90% to 200% of an employee’s salary, with highly skilled professionals costing up to 5 times their salary.

Every one of us is capable of coaching we just need to be shown how.

Coaching can help you:

  • retain your key employees;
  • turn around those employees who have potential but are under performing
  • resolve conflict in the workplace
  • improve performance and morale
  • have employees take ownership and accountability

This practical session will provide you with information and tools that will help you:

  • Start a coaching conversation with your staff
  • Understand the difference between coaching, mentoring, leading, managing and counseling
  • Understand when it is appropriate to coach
  • Gain buy-in from your employees
  • Ask strong coaching questions
