"Tipping Point Leadership"

Presented by: Gavin Freeman
25th May, 2010

Leaders can use a four step process to bring about rapid, dramatic and lasting change with limited resources.

The four hurdles to overcome are:

  • The COGNITIVE hurdle
  • The MOTIVATIONAL hurdle
  • The RESOURCE hurdle
  • The POLITICAL hurdle

This seminar will explore the hurdles to change and how we can overcome each of them. We are all driven by different needs and it is by the understanding of these needs that enable change agents to be successful.

Tipping point leadership provides you with the skills to take on any situation and be confident that the process you put in place will be effective. The theory of tipping points, which has its roots in epidemiology, hinges on the insight that in any organisation, once the beliefs and energies of a critical mass of people are engaged, conversion to a new idea will spread like epidemic, bringing about fundamental change very quickly and at a low cost.

Gavin Freeman, Director of the Business Olympian (www.businessolympian.com.au) is a fully registered psychologist with over 10 years experience in both the sporting and corporate world. He was the team psychologist for the Winter Olympic team in 2006 and 2000 Sydney Paralympic Games.

into the corporate world. Gavin consults to CEO’s, Managers and Elite Coaches  delivering a variety of experiential Performance Mastery Workshops, Leadership Development,
