Dress for Success helps disadvantaged
women to thrive in work and life by providing them with professional attire, a network of support and career development tools. Along with my staff, I've become extremely attached
to this cause and together we feel passionate about making a significant contribution.

To this effect, I would love to call on your support by donating your pre-loved corporate wear (and shopping for a bargain!).

As part of the "dress for less and help other women dress for success" event, you can drop off, or arrange for Quay Appointments to
collect, your pressed and priced business
attire (including accessories and shoes).

On Friday 5th March, you can then shop among the donated items for bargains, enjoy lunch or afternoon tea and champagne, and
hear styling tips from an acclaimed
international stylist.

All money raised - along with any unsold
clothing - will be donated to Dress for Success.

For donations and / or attendance,
please contact me or email smeleah@quayappointments.com.au
by 26 February 2010.

"The Art of Networking"

Play Audio

Presented by: Michael Schoettler and Sue Henry
2nd March, 2010

Networking can bridge the gap between people.

For too many people networking is just attending events and meeting people. To enjoy the full BENEFITS of "The Art of Networking"
for your company, you need to master a systematic and methodical approach to opening relationships.

Three common problems keep people from effective networking:

  1. They can't find the "right" words to present their business
  2. They are quickly discouraged by the lack of immediate results
  3. They attend events but lack a systematic approach

During "The Art of Networking" Workshop you will learn how to develop a system that will support your growth with a stream of new contacts.

This interactive and fun session will explore how to:

  • Create a memorable impression
  • Develop your introduction statement
  • Manage and overcome nerves
  • Identify the key statement that highlight the benefits of your products and services
  • Create an easy system to follow
  • Master the art of the three elements to successful business introductions
  • Refine your preferred networking style

Mike Schoettler is uniquely qualified to co-present this networking program as the Chairman of AmCham's Membership Committee and popular Chairman of many networking events. Mike founded Sales Sense in 1991 and helps successful sales people to use the negotiation and sales skills that build profitable relationships. Mike believes that developing your ability to build profitable business relationships is your best investment for success.

Sue Henry is an Australian networking expert, co-author (Network or Perish and Accelerate Your Business, Yourself and Your Networking Skills) and a professional sticky beak who has worked in sales, marketing, events, and training for the past 20 years. She is in demand as a public speaker, motivator and small business expert.
