The Rudd Labor Government has made important changes to Australia's industrial relations system and is scheduled to make some further change very shortly - But what does this mean on a practical level for employers?
Answers to the following questions
- Do we need to change our contracts of employment?
- Do we still have to abide by awards and are they going to change?
- Can we still make workplace agreements (EBA's) and why would we want to?
- What are the new minimum employment standards and do we need to act now?
- What is likely to change over the next couple of years?
So come and join us for this interactive session at Quay Appointments - Tuesday 19th August, 2008.
Charles Cameron, an industrial relations specialist, will provide a practical insight in to the changes that may arise over coming months and how you can best prepare your business for such change.
