Studies indicate that understanding and increasing emotional intelligence (EI) is essential to workplace effectiveness, management and leadership potential and career success.  All of us can boost our EI by understanding and using the skills which define it including self-awareness, empathy, self-confidence, self-control and the ability to listen.   

This session is for managers who wish to get some tips on how to improve their people management skills through the use of emotional intelligence

You will learn how to:

  • What is Emotional Intelligence (EI)
  • How the use of Emotional Intelligence can help you in your role as a manager;
  • Examples of Emotional Intelligence in practice
  • Strategies for developing your own Emotional Intelligence

Gabrielle Droulers is the co-founder and Director of the Centre for Career Development Pty. Ltd (www.cfcd.com.au). She has a Masters degree in Human Resources and Organisational Career Development and a Bachelors degree in Communications. She has over 15 years of Australian and US corporate consulting and training modelling, facilitation, executive coaching, leadership development, career development, performance consulting, team building, and career transition.

She has a wealth of knowledge about group, individual, and organisational behaviour. Her vision is to empower people "to be the best" at what they do and help organisations create a high performance work culture by assisting them in coaching their people.
