"Understanding Employment Engagement "

Engagement can be defined as being the state of emotional and intellectual commitment of a group or organisation. Engagement is not “WHAT” our people do, it is the driver of “HOW” they do it, and “WHO” they do it for. Engagement employees create loyal customers who in turn create bigger profits.
When employees join an organisation, they’re usually enthusiastic, committed, and ready to be advocates for their new employer. Put simply, they’re highly engaged. But often, that first year on the job is their best. Gallup Organisation research reveals that the longer an employee stays with a company, the less engaged he or she becomes.
So what can managers do to enhance employee engagement? What are the signs that employees are becoming disengaged and what can managers do to revere the slide?
Seminar includes:
- What is employee engagement?
- “Best Employer” findings
- Key drivers of engagement
- How to disengage your people without even knowing it
- The psychological contract
- Emotional and intellectual commitment
- Engagement and financial performance
- Measuring employee engagement
- How to improve engagement levels
