Managing Change
 |
| Gabrielle Droulers |
In this workshop we will explore:
- 4 approaches to change management
- Preparing your team for change
- Understanding and managing employee resistance to change
Organisations today face frequent changes to workplace structures and procedures. The fact
that organisations must undergo continual change does not mean that people enjoy the change
process or that the experience of change is pleasant. An organisation's ability to effectively
implement change is contingent upon developing and implementing a successful change strategy
that integrates the contributions of both people and process.
If not properly implemented, change can leave employees feeling unmotivated, cynical and confused at a time when commitment to the
organisation is necessary for the change to be successful. Change is part of organisational
life and essential for growth. Those who anticipate and manage it are more likely to find their
careers and organisations more successful.
Gabrielle Droulers is the co-founder and Director of the Centre for Career
