Managing Change

Gabrielle Droulers

In this workshop we will explore:

  • 4 approaches to change management
  • Preparing your team for change
  • Understanding and managing employee resistance to change

Organisations today face frequent changes to workplace structures and procedures. The fact that organisations must undergo continual change does not mean that people enjoy the change process or that the experience of change is pleasant. An organisation's ability to effectively implement change is contingent upon developing and implementing a successful change strategy that integrates the contributions of both people and process.

If not properly implemented, change can leave employees feeling unmotivated, cynical and confused at a time when commitment to the organisation is necessary for the change to be successful. Change is part of organisational life and essential for growth. Those who anticipate and manage it are more likely to find their careers and organisations more successful.

Gabrielle Droulers is the co-founder and Director of the Centre for Career Development Pty. Ltd. She has a Masters degree in Human Resources and Organisational Career Development and a Bachelors degree in Communications. She has over 15 years of Australian and US corporate consulting and training modelling, facilitation, executive coaching, leadership development, career development, performance consulting, team building, and career transition.

She has a wealth of knowledge about group, individual, and organisational behaviour. Her vision is to empower people "to be the best" at what they do and help organisations create a high performance work culture by assisting them in coaching their people.
