Winsome Bernard, Founding Director

Winsome is the founder and the driving force behind Quay Appointments. With substantial experience in recruitment and a career spanning over 20 years, she has established herself as an icon within the industry and her business expertise has been leveraged from both the Australian and International recruitment industry.

Starting out as a graduate trainee manager, Winsome’s career began in the UK with Brook Street Bureau of London. However, Alfred Mark’s push into the Australasian market saw Winsome transfer to Sydney as part of the acquisition team.

In 1989 Winsome joined the company, which she then acquired in 1994 and established Quay Appointments. Under Winsome's vision, guidance and ethical leadership, Quay Appointments has gone from strength to strength by providing highly valued recruitment and personnel solutions to businesses and government agencies.

Winsome is a loyal advocate for ethical conduct, which is evident through her active participation with the RCSA’s Ethics Committee. Winsome is passionate about Quay Appointments and strongly believes that performance is linked to the quality of relationships and service provided to clients.
