Quay Appointments has a history in personnel recruitment spanning many years. Formed in 1994, we are very proud of our strong and positive reputation. With a large Client base and equally strong Candidate base, many of whom have been with us year on year, our ability to provide a superior service is evident in the repeat business we experience and the financial stability and success we enjoy.

We are a wholly 100% Australian owned company with our principal, Winsome Bernard, being the catalyst for our success. Her local and international recruitment industry experience ensures we are at the forefront of our profession bringing many new initiatives and continuous business improvements

Temporary Staff - The Flexible Workforce

Temporary staff provide a quick and cost effective solution to staff shortages, peak workloads and holiday times. We can place the staff you need when you need them. Our response time is fast and we can place people the same day. We expect high standards from our temporary staff. Each person is screened, interviewed, tested and if necessary further trained using the latest technology and software packages available in our internal training facilities. We ensure you receive the best temporary placement. The minimum temporary assignment is just four hours and our all inclusive rate takes care of government and statutory costs.

Sourcing & Retention

Quay Appointments has over 2000 active work ready candidates, who have been interviewed, tested and referenced checked. Further to that we can also canvas the databases of our large network of associates, to aid us in our search for the "right person" for you.

Our secure data retains historical information relating to every customer, order placed, orders filled, rates of pay and service fees, together with comments relating to job performance and any other unique requirements of the customer.

Our flexible database and meticulous record keeping ensure that a variety of reports useful for benchmarking, planning and forecasting can be provided.

Quay Appointments' holistic approach to assessment and testing enables us to carefully consider our clients' requirements and our candidates' individually, which alleviates the problems that are often associated with blanket methods of candidate evaluation.

Assessment Centres

Our method of profiling and assessing suitability of candidates has been tested and used by major service providers both in Australia and overseas. If requested, we can confirm candidates' suitability by testing their aptitude and attitude and compiling a psychometric profile. Our process is based on the applicant's response to a key range of situations and depends upon the requirements of the position and can include:

Quay Appointments' testing and training facilities enable us to ascertain the range and depth of candidates' skills through the complete testing process of their keyboard, data entry, PC and other technical skills.
